Directional Technical Services

For over 20 years since its establishment, the Directional Well Project Department of the Company has provided trajectory services for more than 2,000 wells for CNPC, Sinopec and overseas Clients. The Company has the capability to provide trajectory services for various types of directional wells and horizontal wells.

Service Advantages:

  • The Company has advanced MWD/LWD tools, perfect trajectory service supporting technology and rich experience in trajectory service. The Company can provide services for various drilling techniques, including short radius directional drilling, rotary geological steering, SAGD horizontal wells, U-shaped horizontal wells, multi-lateral horizontal wells, and casing window sidetracking;
  • A drilling fluid laboratory, which is capable of drilling fluid performance testing and drilling fluid system design optimization;
  • The Company possesses an integrated geological engineering software platform that allows for the geological modeling of reservoirs based on formation drilling parameters. It can optimize trajectories in real-time, thereby improving the drilling encounter rate in oil fields.
